Netizens Disrespectfully Joke About Former NCT Lucas’ “Death”
Following former NCT Lucas‘ apparent resumption of activities in the industry, some netizens are disrespectfully joking about his death.
Back in May 2023, Lucas withdrew from NCT and WayV, a result of getting caught up in a gaslighting scandal two years prior.
There wasn’t much news regarding his future plans in the industry until this month, when SM Entertainment opened up new social media accounts for Lucas.
Shortly after the creation of Lucas’ official social media accounts, a netizen made a post on Threads with a fake announcement from WayV’s label, LABEL V, regarding Lucas’ “death.”

I don’t follow NCT, and I hate what Lucas has done, but there’s really no need to talk about death. Everyone hates how he’s still in SM Entertainment, but a person wishing him death is not any better than him.
Of course, you have the right to hate someone, but don’t put a curse on them.
