Netizens React To YG Entertainment’s “Legendary” Introduction Of BABYMONSTER’s Ahyeon In New Teaser

When BABYMONSTER‘s debut lineup was announced, YG Entertainment had chosen seven members to debut.

Yet, as the debut date got closer, fans were apprehensive as it was postponed, and then the news was released that Ahyeon wouldn’t be debuting with the members, but with promises that it was only temporary.

BABYMONSTER released two music videos since debuting, each without Ahyeon.

On March 11 (KST), YG Entertainment posted the teaser for BABYMONSTER’s next comeback. With the title “BABYMONS7ER,” it wasn’t surprising that fans were waiting to see Ahyeon, but the thumbnail only showed six members.

Even as the video started, only the members who had “properly” debuted were shown.

The video then showed close-up shots of the members.

In the final seconds, netizens couldn’t hide their apprehension as a final shot of the six members was shown without Ahyeon. Yet, YG Entertainment knew what they were doing as the group turned around. Suddenly, Ahyeon was given her own dramatic scene to welcome her into the group.

When the video was posted, netizens couldn’t stop gushing over the way Ahyeon was introduced. By making the thumbnail just the six members and not having her appear until the end, it made sure netizens watched the whole video because so many wanted to see Ahyeon after everything that happened.
