Netizens React To Chaebol Heiress Left Out Of THE BLACK LABEL’s New Girl Group Lineup
She won’t be debuting.
It was recently reported in the news that the chaebol heiress to one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates would not be a part of the debut lineup for THE BLACK LABEL’s new girl group. Previously, fans had been excited to identify Annie Moon as part of the soon-to-debut group.
In reasons unspecified to the public, she had allegedly been cut from the group. The media did not report if this was of her own will or the company’s.
Shinsegae Heiress Reportedly Cut From THE BLACK LABEL’s Upcoming Girl Group
Although many fans had been excited, feeling a sense of pride in her background, netizens feel that this was for the best.
- What a relief.
- To be honest, I’m relieved.
- I think this is better because companies would have been too wary of Shinsegae. Fans already act like maids, it would have been too over the top for them to start doing that to chaebols too.
- I had been dumbfounded [at her debut] too.
- Good choice on Teddy’s part.
- Did you really think that her chaebol grandmother would have been able to stomach her doing aegyo or whatever the fans wanted because they were paying? To be honest, the industry is made up of selling people as products, so how would someone who was the boss of that all her life, be able to have people that worked for her now be her boss?
- I just think that it’s a relief. Who knows about a solo but to have a chaebol in a girl group… Anyway, is it even possible for them to debut in the earlier half of 2024 as planned? Isn’t that already next month?
What are your thoughts?
