Netizens React To A Fan’s Behavior Towards TREASURE’s Jaehyuk During A Recent Fansign Event
TREASURE has always gained attention for how much the members love their fans.
In particular, netizens can’t stop praising how much member Jaehyuk loves the fans and everything he does for them.
Recently, a video gained attention from netizens after they had mixed reactions to a fan’s interaction with Jaehyuk at a fansign event.
In the video, the fan is at a distance from Jaehyuk. As he tries to encourage her to come closer, the fan makes a signal after acknowledging him that she doesn’t want to get any closer for reasons that are not known from the video alone.
As Jaehyuk seems to encourage the fan to come closer to him so they can chat and interact, the queue moves, and the fan walks to the next member. Many netizens thought that Jaehyuk looked disheartened after the interaction as they believed the fan just walked to the next member.
After moving on from Jaehyuk, the fan goes to the next member and also keeps her distance, although she is much closer than before.
In another video, from another perspective, it shows that while the fan kept her distance compared to others at the event and seemed reluctant to touch them, she was seemingly more comfortable and talkative with the rest of the group.
When the video was posted on multiple social media platforms, it received a lot of comments from fans who found the fan’s behavior “rude.”
In particular, they pointed out that whatever the fan felt or whether she preferred a member, Jaehyuk looked sad and uncomfortable after the interaction. As many fans would love a chance to even see their favorite idol, never mind interact with them, many netizens shared their anger at how the idol was treated.
Even those who weren’t aware of TREASURE or actively stanned them shared their sympathy with the idol.
While it isn’t clear why the fan acted in such a way and why she seemed to have a similar stance with other members, it was seemingly more noticeable with Jaehyuk, especially as the idol tried to make her feel comfortable.
