Korean Public Weighs In On NewJeans’ Guerilla Livestream
On September 11, 2024, NewJeans surprised everyone by launching an unexpected livestream on a newly created YouTube channel that was not linked to their official company account.
Before starting the stream, the members clarified that Min Hee Jin had not requested this initiative. They explained that they organized it independently because they had messages they wanted to share. Ultimately, the girls requested for HYBE to return ADOR to what it was originally.
What we want is for Min Hee Jin to remain as the CEO, the original ADOR where management and production was combined. This is the way we will be able to stop fighting with HYBE. If you have understood our opinions clearly, then we ask for HYBE and Chairman Bang to make the wise decision to return ADOR to how it was originally by the 25th.

NewJeans’ Hanni Personally Addresses Their Discord With HYBE In Now-Deleted Broadcast
Hanni also explained that it had gotten to the point where another group’s manager had told the group to “ignore her” when she ran into them in the hallway near the makeup rooms in the building. According to Hanni, after she told the current ADOR CEO about the matter, CEO Ju Young Kim told Hanni that there was no evidence of it.

There’s hair and makeup rooms on the 4th floor of the building. It’s a space frequented by other artists and staff. But when the group came out again with the manager, the manager said, ‘ignore her.’ Right in front of me.
