Netizens Flame HYBE For Poor Organization At “2024 Weverse Con Festival”

“No better than a small company.”

2024 Weverse Con Festival kicked off on June 15, 2024. Although the event was highly advertised and held in conjunction with Aliexpress as its main sponsor, the poor organization left much to be desired. Many had already posted about their experience with the chaos. The long line left people in frustration, causing those at the back of the line to suddenly cut the queue. According to those who were onsite, the concert was due to begin at 11am. At this stage, the majority of the audience had not yet managed to enter the arena, leading the people at the back of the line to panic. They began to run towards the entrance, which resulted in more following their lead. The line was completely rendered useless, and everyone mobbed the entrance.

The barricades were falling all over the place, and audience members had to hold them down personally. Eventually, the police and fire department were dispatched due to the number of injuries.

  • They’re basically not doing their jobs.
  • Where did their brains for work go? Are they really going to do things this carelessly? How pathetic.
  • Gasp, crazy.
  • If the concert already started, and they couldn’t enter yet, of course those who paid ₩170,000 KRW (about $123 USD) wouldn’t stay still. I think people should try to boycott them once. Tsk.
  • HYBE again?
  • I wonder just how many tickets they made available for people to have not been able to enter when the concert already started. I’m sure people went down early just to see the show.
  • To see your faves perform two or three songs for ₩170,000 KRW (about $123 USD)…
  • What is HYBE doing after raising all the prices of K-Pop tickets?
