SM Entertainment’s Upcoming British Boy Band Stokes Anticipation From The Korean Public
It was previously announced that SM Entertainment is set to launch a British boy band produced by the Korean entertainment giant. Their debut will be showcased through a BBC documentary series that will follow “five boys from across the UK as they undergo K-pop training with the aim of forming a new global boy band.” Filmed in South Korea, the series captures their training at SM Entertainment, including sessions with top choreographers, vocal and dance lessons, performance training, and life coaching techniques. The British trainees will undergo a 100-day boot camp with hopes of debuting as an idol group.
On August 2, 2024, fans received a long-awaited preview of the band, Dear Alice, with a video posted on their new official X account, @dearalicemusic.
