Netizens Can’t Get Over Jung Ho Yeon And The Weeknd’s Chemistry In His “Out Of Time” Music Video
Since Netflix‘s hit Korean thriller series Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon has become a hot commodity!
Jung Ho Yeon was already a superstar model, but now everyone wants to cast her in their projects since her first acting role in Squid Game. This includes the team behind the HBO series Euphoria!
Zendaya recently mentioned HoYeon Jung, “I once told her, ‘If you come to L.A, you should visit the filming set of Euphoria’. And she really came to the set. That gave us an opportunity to talk to each other more.” pic.twitter.com/vXJ8u7bQ1W

Recently, Jung Ho Yeon was confirmed to star alongside Cate Blanchett, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Kevin Kline in Apple TV+‘s new thriller series Disclaimer.
Her first role since Squid Game though is in a music video. She stars in the new music video for Canadian singer-songwriter and producer The Weeknd‘s (also known as Abel Tesfaye) hit song “Out of Time.” He released the video on Tuesday, April 5.
The music video begins with a “meet-cute” of sorts as Jung Ho Yeon and The Weeknd exchange glances in an elevator before spending the night together, singing karaoke, dancing, etc.
Compared to the average music video from The Weeknd, it’s very fun, cute, romantic, and flirty! Still, Jim Carrey‘s cameo role as an evil doctor giving The Weeknd a face transplant brings us back to an unfortunate “reality,” when the date is quite literally shattered. It’s very much a Black Mirror vibe!
The Weeknd’s music videos are like short films, creating one feature film. He previously explained that each music video from his recent album Dawn FM is to be viewed in a specific order.

While the “Out of Time” music video turned out a bit creepy in the end, which Jung Ho Yeon certainly has experience in as her first and most famous role is a horror thriller, her role was actually adorable!
Fans also pointed out that the music video paid homage to the 2003 romance drama Lost in Translation. The film is a classic directed by Sofia Coppola, starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson.
