Netizens Refute Claims Han Ye Seul Did Anything Wrong, And They Brought Receipts
As earlier reported, actress Han Ye Seul found herself in controversy due to photos of the actress “acting disrespectfully” at Antelope Canyon.
In a few of her pictures uploaded to Instagram, the actress was seen touching and standing on the walls of the canyon.
Some netizens claimed that the actress was breaking the local rules by standing on the walls. Tourists of the park are warned to not touch the walls as means to help preserve the natural site.
As the controversy grew, the actress took down her photo. Other netizens, however, are now alleging the actress did nothing wrong, and they have receipts.
According to Sports Kyung Hyang, the area Han Ye Seul visited is only open to the public with a guide.
Tourist advertisements for the park show visitors standing and leaning against the wall, adding to the argument that the actress did nothing wrong.
Another netizen who claimed to have recently visited the canyons defended the actress. They pointed out how the tours are guided by professionals who understand that the walls are strong enough to be touched.
I visited Antelope Canyon, and I can say she did nothing wrong. 1) Due to safety reasons, tourists always need to be with a guide. 2) The walls are not so weak that a human can damage the wall. 3) You can take as many pictures as you want during the tour as long as you don’t do anything dangerous.
The fact that you guys are criticizing her for this just because you don’t like her makes you look pathetic.

Other netizens commented, “There’s a reason they say stay still, and you won’t be last lol,” and, “Tourists must have a guide when visiting the canyon. I knew when I saw the controversy that it was started by people who have never been there.”
Han Ye Seul has yet to respond to the controversy.
