Netizens Doubt The Authenticity Of Kim Sae Ron’s Voice Recordings
On March 19, 2025, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho posted a video about the late actress Kim Sae Ron, suggesting that she was already married when she chose to take her own life. The video included voice recordings of conversations between Kim Sae Ron and a staff member from her previous agency, which she had joined after leaving GOLD MEDALIST. On March 21, 2025, the agency staff issued a statement to StarNews, denying that they had ever shared the recordings with Lee Jin Ho.

Netizens are having a hard time believing his denial. They wonder if the staff member even exists in the first place, or if it was a carefully crafted scheme. There were previous allegations of the recordings being AI. Furthermore, netizens reiterated that it would not matter, even if the recordings were true.
- So are they basically saying, “the recordings are true, but it was not me who gave it to him?” LOL. I can see through them. The company is trying to kill two birds with one stone by damaging her reputation and escaping responsibility through an article LOL.
