NewJeans Spotted At Kanye West’s Listening Party — Netizens Are Perplexed
On July 6, it was announced that Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) would visit Korea for the first time in 14 years.
It was announced that the artist would hold a listening party for his and Ty Dolla $ign’s second album, “Vultures, Volume 2” These events have taken place in other locations and are essentially concerts featuring the two performers.

Kanye arrived in Korea on the Friday morning of the anticipated concert, which was believed to have sold out.
Like other the other listening events, it was expected that celebrities would be in attendance and this turned out to be true. However, the attendance of NewJeans’ Minji, Hanni and Danielle has sparked some mixed reactions.
Before the show began, photos of the NewJeans members at the 18+ event circulated, showing the three members with staff. Another clip showed the idols interacting with 2NE1‘s CL and Minzy in a VIP area.

Many have commented on the idols appearance at the event, with many having a negative opinion related to Ye’s various controversies and behaviors which include alleged antisemitism.
