New K-Pop survival show “Time Turner” continues to be hit with backlash.
The show recently started airing on TikTok and features some well known names from the K-Pop industry and social media.
As soon as the first episode aired, it was immediately hit with criticism and disappointment from fans for being “low-budget,” the “Influencer” contestants, and methods of voting, including Google Documents from the TikTok Live gifts, which viewers pay for using real money.
“Low-Budget” Survival Show Already Has Viewers Disappointed After A Single Episode
As more episodes aired, netizens shared more anger.
During her own live broadcast, contestant Dalia revealed that she didn’t know that votes would come from paid gifts, apologizing to fans and even telling them they didn’t have to vote.

With the “voting” system, as the episodes went on and rankings were revealed, many netizens started to hit back at the biased nature of the show. In particular, Kelly Kim has been at the top for many rounds.

Netizens have criticized her “lackluster” performance, questioning how it could be in first place compared to some of the other contestants.

Some even thought there was favoritism as Kelly Kim seems to be under the same company that is part of creating the show, which is PI Corporation, that is funding the show with Makestar, as shown on her Instagram profile.
There were also technical issues throughout the episodes, whether with the show itself as a whole or specific contestants’ performances.
