New Live Action Movie of “Mulan” Will Bring Back Both the Original Music and Mushu
Many fans were disappointed when it was announced that Disney’s new live-action movie Mulan would not be a musical like the original animation nor would it feature Mulan’s fire-breathing sidekick, Mushu.
Director Niki Caro stated earlier this year that rumors claiming the movie would not feature the Mulan songs were true.
“Yes, from what I understand, no songs right now, much to the horror of my children.” ㅡ Niki Caro
According to DisInsider, however, the movie has brought back some of the music from the 1998 animation as well as the charismatic dragon Mushu!
Details as to which songs will be included and how Mushu will be portrayed have not yet been revealed.
Nonetheless, fans are super excited to hear that some of their favorite songs will be featured in the upcoming movie, which is scheduled to be released on March 27, 2020!
