New Survival Show Contestant Found To Allegedly Have Been Kicked Out Of Group For Dating A Fan
JTBC has announced a brand new survival show called PROJECT7. The show boasts to be the first of its kind, allowing fans to assemble their own debut group. The show has begun teasing its contestants.
One contestant in particular has been gaining attention, but not for the right reasons. Shin Jaewon used to be part of a boy group called THE WIND.

He was their vocalist.
Almost a year after debut, in December 2023, it was announced that he would no longer be a part of the group. Fans had caught him allegedly dating another fan. According to fans, his alleged girlfriend exposed him after they broke up.

The evidence collected included the SPIN message that started it all. The question asked, “what would you do if Shin Jaewon messaged you secretly?”
He DMed them later, sending a photo of his fingers and of a filming prop as proof.
Fan: “Can I ask what the reason is?”
Jaewon: “It’s me. So you’ll keep this a secret, right?”
They took things to Kakaotalk after.
Jaewon: “I wanted to get your number in person, so I dragged things out.”
Fan: “Is that so? LOL. [Redacted]”
Jaewon: “Hahaha. How’s the big picture I tried for?”
Jaewon is set to compete in PROJECT7. He has remained without a company since his withdrawal from THE WIND.
