Rising Girl Group Mocked For Their Group Name, “Little Sister”
A new girl group was recently teased. The group’s name will be Yeo Dong Saeng in Korean, meaning “Little Sister.” The English seems to be YDS, an abbreviation of the Korean words. Their company recently teased their August 2024 comeback with a photo of the girls in a green field.
The teaser quickly went viral, with netizens mocking the name.

K-Pop has seen group names ranging from GFRIEND, to Boyfriend, and even Dongnae Oppa. YDS may be unusual, but it certainly isn’t considered weird in the realm of K-Pop!
