NewJeans Gain Attention For Their Unexpected Actions Towards IVE At The “2023 Melon Music Awards”
IVE and NewJeans are two of the biggest girl groups in K-Pop.
Since both groups debuted, they’ve become huge hits both in Korea and worldwide.
Recently, NewJeans gained attention for their behavior towards IVE.
On December 2, both IVE and NewJeans attended the 2023 MMA (Melon Music Awards). During the event, IVE picked up several awards, and when picking up some of the biggest, it wasn’t surprising that the members became emotional.
After the unsurprisingly emotional speech, the IVE members made their way back to the seating area. It was at this moment that a new clip of NewJeans’ reactions to the group was shared.
While the members of IVE were making their way back to their seats, Hyein and Hanni were seen looking over to the staff and talking to them about something.
At first, it was impossible to know what they were talking about, but eventually, the two idols started using hand gestures for tissues and then pointing to the IVE members.
The two idols then did it again just to emphasize what they meant as IVE sat down in their seats.
When the clip was posted, netizens couldn’t get over the NewJeans members’ pure reactions to IVE. They realized how emotional the members were and wanted to help them, even if it was something like getting them tissues for their tears.
