NewJeans Cancels Music Broadcast And Fan Sign Event Due To Flight Delays
K-Pop girl group NewJeans have canceled several activities due to massive flight delays and cancellations in the United States. Below is the official statement released by ADOR.
Hello, this is ADOR. We want to inform you about NewJeans’ schedule. NewJeans was scheduled to return home after finishing their overseas schedules, but due to a malfunction in the local computer system in the U.S., massive flight delays and cancellations occurred, making it impossible to return home on time.
As a result, they will be unable to participate on KBS’s ‘Music Bank’ and fan sign event scheduled for January 13. We have also canceled the announcement of the winners of the Music Bank pre-recording that was scheduled after 12 PM today. A separate notice will be provided regarding the fan sign event.
Although we tried to find alternative flights to participate in the schedules, it was difficult due to the airline crisis. We ask for generous understanding from fans, and we will do our best to help our artists return home safely. Thank you.
