On July 24, Sports World released a bombshell report in which the parents of NewJeans’ members vehemently criticized Source Music while voicing their support for ADOR. According to the report, the interview was a direct response to Dispatch’s previous article which has been refuted by ADOR, with the label vowing to take legal action. Danielle’s Mother: “HYBE’s Unbelievable Reply, Who Leaked The Source?”
Danielle’s mother revealed what HYBE CCO, Park Tae Hee, wrote to her in a message.

Danielle’s mother was shocked after seeing a video of (NewJeans) as a trainee, which was released by a media outlet. She knew that Min Hee Jin did not try to steal the members but that HYBE had lied about flipping the debut timeline.
Danielle’s mother revealed to Sports World that she remembered exactly what had happened to the original debut timeline. She shared that in no instance were there any discussions about HYBE including other idols that had previously debuted, meaning NewJeans were originally slated to debut before LE SSERAFIM.
I remember vividly what was said when my daughter signed with Source Music. We were told that if Danielle makes it into the debuting ensemble, she would be part of HYBE’s first girl group to debut.

Danielle’s mother further alleged that HYBE had fed Dispatch the information reported on their latest hit piece against ADOR, before expressing shock at HYBE’s response to her inquiry about the label’s involvement in the article.
It is astounding that HYBE claims they are still looking into how the article was published. There is no way that information gets out unless HYBE or Source Music gives it to (Dispatch). Only after I requested did HYBE state they would look into it. If the article isn’t corrected, we are considering taking legal action.
