NewJeans’ “Ditto” Receives Platinum Certification By The Recording Industry Association Of Japan

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, the K-Pop girl group NewJeans has received their first platinum certification for their song “Ditto,” making them the fastest foreign female act to do so. The RIAJ categorizes songs into gold, platinum, and diamond, depending on the cumulative number of plays each month.
The song “Ditto” also swept domestic and international charts on December 19 last year. Thanks to their overwhelming popularity, they will appear on various Japanese programs and perform at the SUMMER SONIC 2023 in August.
