NewJeans‘ greeting after leaving ADOR has gained attention among netizens.
On November 28, NewJeans announced they were terminating their exclusive contract with ADOR and HYBE.
During their press conference, Danielle spoke about the future of the group after leaving, particularly acknowledging that they might not be able to use their name.

Yet, as soon as the video came out, netizens noticed that in their introduction, they didn’t mention their name or “NewJeans” at all, even though it was in the tweet and the video’s caption. Instead, they just said, “Good evening everyone.”
Many shared that they might not hear NewJeans from now on, as it’s still licensed to ADOR and HYBE, with others hoping they could hear the normal greeting soon.
