NewJeans Haerin’s “Controversial” Live Performance Sparks Comparisons To LE SSERAFIM
Netizens defended Haerin from retractors following her live performance.

I was watching the TMA and Haerin’s vocals are really shaky and weak. I thought I was watching a Middle Schooler. I don’t think she dances that well either but besides that, her vocals are seriously shaky and I don’t think she sings very well.

The netizen then posted a link from DC Inside, one of Korea’s biggest bastions of incels and most problematic communities. The community has been waging a war against NewJeans and Min Hee Jin ever since her feud with HYBE as many couldn’t stand the thought of a woman leading one of Korea’s biggest male-driven industries. Almost all of the community has since backed LE SSERAFIM as their champion in a pseudo-war between feminism and incel-dom.
HYBE Responds To Explicit And Disgusting Threat Made Towards NewJeans
Netizens on Nate responded to the post by ridiculing it and providing proof that the criticism wasn’t worth taking seriously given it came from one of Korea’s most toxic echo chambers.
In reality, she killed it and Haerin went viral and was only praised for her performance. Her performance on a Japanese music video also garnered the most praise and brought in the most viewers. DC Inside galleries can try to frame her as much as they want.
