Late last month, it was reported that NewJeans’ Hanni had been chosen by the National Assembly Environment and Labor Committee to testify at the state audit in October.
The committee passed a resolution on September 30 requesting Hanni’s and HYBE’s Ju Young Kim’s attendance. The committee plans to question Hanni about workplace bullying, based on the idol’s claims that she suffered from it.

Her attendance was not necessarily mandatory, however, the idol recently confirmed that she would be present.
In a series of messages on the Phoning app, Hanni shared that she planned on going to the National Assembly alone to represent the members and fans, as it was “right.”
