The NewJeans members might be best remembered during their long-haired debut era, when each of the members sported long, natural-colored hair that really made them stand out.
Since then, most of them haven’t strayed too far from their original styling, though their stylists have played around with wigs and perming at various times, and they’ve gotten pretty creative with what they’ve done with the members’ long hair!
That’s why, when Hanni appeared in NewJeans’ “Bubble Gum” video with drastically shorter locks, it came as a shock to many.
Not everyone was a huge fan of the unconventional bob at first, but now that people have had time to adjust (and she appeared in the “How Sweet” music video with it as well), it seems like many have warmed up to the blunt cut.
It’s allegedly a wig, so it seems like Hanni didn’t actually have to cut her hair so drastically, but it’s definitely a look that not just anyone could pull off with how unique it is!
Only someone who is already as naturally pretty as Hanni could make this unusual style look as good as it does.
