As of late, NewJeans‘ online activities have increased following the creation of their new Instagram account.
Just days ago, an account with the username @jeanzforfree appeared on Instagram, which was quickly confirmed to be the group. Since then, the group have shared more and more online, seemingly feeling free from the account that ADOR had control over.

Recently, Hanni has shared an unreleased song on the account, leaving fans emotional.
On December 18, Hanni shared a post to the new Instagram account, sharing with fans that she had decided on a title, “weightless,” for a song she had written months ago. She stated that she wanted to make changes to the track’s lyrics, but also that the lyrics do not reflect her current emotions.

The song’s lyrics reflect on a feeling of emptiness due to another’s treatment or feeling “weightless.”
