NewJeans Hanni’s Visa Is Nearing Expiration — Future Activities May Be In Danger

It all hinges on what happens between her and ADOR.

NewJeansHanni‘s E-6 visa is nearing expiration and if it expires, she will be unable to promote.

According to a report from Xportnews, Hanni’s E-6 visa is nearing expiration. While this is normally not an issue, it becomes difficult to extend an E-6 visa without the support of an agency. As an Australian-Vietnamese dual citizen, Hanni requires the E-6 Culture and Entertainment visa to legally be allowed to make a profit on her idol activities.

ADOR has told Xportnews that they are working on preparing the documents to assist Hanni with her visa extension. However, due to the entirety of NewJeans declaring their allegiance to Min Hee Jin and breaking free from ADOR, Hanni’s visa is in danger. If the contract between the artist on an E-6 visa and the company is terminated, the E-6 visa becomes invalidated. It is expected that should Hanni’s contract with ADOR be officially terminated, her visa will immediately become invalid and she will be forced to apply for a change of visa status, whether that be a new E-6 visa through a new agency or a D-10 job seeker visa, or be forced to leave the country within 15 days. E-6 visas are generally one year in length and renewable indefinitely.
