NewJeans Is All The “Hype” Right Now As The New Ambassador For Seoul Fashion Week
When NewJeans was singing about a “hype boy,” they really should have been singing about the “hype girls” that they are. They were recently appointed as the honorary ambassador of Seoul Metropolitan City, and they are continuing to take the world by storm by becoming ambassadors of brands, events, and even a whole city.
On February 22, it was announced that NewJeans would be the ambassador for 2023’s Fall Winter Seoul Fashion Week which will take place at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from March 15 to 19.
Seoul Fashion Week is Korea’s biggest fashion event that occurs twice a year, and this season, they will be showcasing 30 Korean fashion designer brands both on-site and through a live YouTube broadcast.
As the global ambassador, NewJeans will take part in Seoul Fashion Week by promoting the event to the world with their global influence.
Seoul Fashion Week will upload a special NewJeans video where each member will be wearing and promoting the clothes of the designers represented at the fashion show. This video is set to be released on February 25 on Seoul Fashion Week’s official YouTube channel.
