NewJeans Becomes The Fourth Generation K-Pop Group With The Most Monthly Listeners On Spotify EVER
Rookie girl group NewJeans continues to rock the K-Pop industry with yet another accomplishment to add to their already impressive list!
Since the group debuted only a little over a month ago, NewJeans has been skyrocketing to the top of music charts with their four released songs.
They reached the top of the Korean music chart MelOn with multiple songs, “Attention” received around 100 real-time all kills by reaching #1 on all of South Korea’s major music charts, and their album New Jeans reached 100 million streams on Spotify in only 37 days, the 2nd fastest of any K-Pop girl group.
“Attention” is also the only debut song by a K-Pop group besides TXT and BTS to rank on the U.S. Spotify chart, showing just how much of an impact they’re having globally as well.
