On May 16, a post titled “NewJeans Minji’s Interview While Wearing Hanbok Is Going Viral” quickly garnered views. In the post, a netizen uploaded a portion of NewJeans’ latest interview.

In the interview, Minji speaks about how honored she was to be one of the first idols to perform at Gyeongbukgung Palace.

Previously, it was reported that NewJeans will be performing at Gyeongbukgung for a special episode of KBS‘s Korea On-Stage — New Generation. Gyeongbukgung was the main royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty. Built in 1395, it is the largest palace built during the era.
