NewJeans’ Minji Caught Working A “Normal Job”

With all of the news revolving around the members of NewJeans recently, the last place one would likely expect to see one of them is in a retail shop. And not just spotted in a store, but actually working in one!

Yet that was the case for Minji, who was seen at the Gangnam location Nike store on May 15.

She was at the store, greeting fans and wearing an employee lanyard, for the Gangnam Store Athlete Experience being held there. It’s unclear why exactly Minji was chosen to appear at the event, but fans were excited to see her, especially with all the chaos they’ve been involved with lately regarding the feud at HYBE Labels.

She seemed happy and at ease interacting with fans and greeting the public, and looked every bit the professional role of any other employee working at the store.

Fans have commented about how pretty she looked, and how they are enjoying seeing her seeming to be well.

Others, however, have taken the opportunity to make jokes about NewJeans disbanding and the members needing to find new jobs.

We hope that Minji and the rest of NewJeans’ members are doing okay in what is surely a stressful time!
