This feud has made many NewJeans fans anxious about the group’s possible future. HYBE is seeking to remove Min Hee Jin as the CEO of ADOR, while Min is going up against the parent corporation, claiming NewJeans was thoroughly ignored and exploited by its executives. According to the parents of the NewJeans members, HYBE has planned a very long hiatus for the group, which even industry experts are concerned about.

In a tense situation like this, Minji posted a bunch of heartwarming messages on the fan communication app Phoning to console Bunnies (NewJeans’ fanbase). On May 18, KST, she wrote to fans, asking them not to be worried and reassuring them that NewJeans are holding up strong.

NewJeans is strong! Stronger than Bunnies think and worry about!

LOL.

We’re bunnies with both the guts and the guns.

I told you, right?

Hop hop. (Wordplay on the phrase “guts and guns.”)

You know that the “gun” part was a joke, right?

[Wink]

Maybe a love gun?

— Minji

Both the messages and the gesture from Minji has touched the hearts of netizens. Many of them also expressed their support for the group along with their frustration with the current situation.
