NewJeans’ Minji Pens Frustrated Message Of Despair After Recent Issues Surrounding ADOR
On September 2, 2024, NewJeans fans were devastated to find out that all the videos from Ban Heesoo’s YouTube channel were deleted. The channel was created as part of the “Ditto” lore, with the character Ban Heesoo representing the fandom. Due to the new management after CEO Min Hee Jin was replaced, the videos were all taken down.
The videos were important and precious to fans. Some even accused HYBE of purposely trying to sabotage the girls, given that “Ditto” catapulted the girls to top tier stars following their debut success.

Minji took to Phoning to comfort fans through an emotional letter.
Hello Bunnies. The weather today is so nice. I was unable to withstand the heat and hoped that summer would hurry and end, but even though the sky was clear and I could feel that autumn was approaching, I felt rather unsettled today.
I had been wanting to tell you all about this and that in my day, but I was unable to. It’s already been a week since. I wanted to come and comfort the Bunnies who were worried and comforting us, telling you that it is fine, but I don’t have the confidence to do so this time. The day is too short for us to even talk about the good stuff, so why do we have to needlessly suffer? I’m incredibly sorry about that, and I’m so frustrated that I am unable to resolve anything at all.
Even as I write this, just like yesterday, there is nothing I can do and nothing I can resolve. I don’t know until when will such uncertain days continue to be, and it might be selfish of me to say this, but I hope that Bunnies and us will no longer need to suffer. I’m sorry for doing this at a late time. Goodnight.
