NewJeans Updates Instagram Story Amidst Court Ruling Furor

It was recently ruled in court that the girl group NJZ (formerly NewJeans) which is engaged in an exclusive contract dispute with the entertainment agency ADOR, should not conduct independent activities.
The Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Division 50 accepted ADOR’s injunction request against the five members of NJZ on March 21, 2025, to prohibit them from signing advertising contracts and to preserve the agency’s status, ruling in favor of ADOR.
The girls have been receiving flak for their response after the court ruling.
Amidst the buzz, the girls updated their Instagram on March 22, 2025. They thanked the fans with a cute photo, alluding to them leaving the country for their performance at 2025 Complex Con.
