NJZ (NewJeans) Hit With Scathing Criticism For New BBC Interview

NJZ‘s (NewJeans) new BBC interview has been hit with major criticism.

On March 26, NJZ had an interview with BBC News Korea, where they spoke about the current situation amid the ongoing battle with ADOR.
The group spoke about many topics, including Hanni directly addressing the impact the situation has had on “another team.”
After the interview was posted, the members were hit with major backlash from netizens. Many didn’t understand why the members were doing all these interviews with foreign outlets and that their actions seem reckless considering the matter is being dealt with in courts.

-
“The whole country is already stressed because of people trying to dodge the law, so this just makes things look even worse. Just stop. Follow the law—our country is a nation of law and order.”
-
“Did they really think it would get dismissed…?”
-
“Why are you like this, guys…”
-
“None of what they said was recognized in court, so what difference does doing an interview overseas make?”
-
“People predicted they’d keep pushing public opinion since they had no chance of winning through legal action, and that’s exactly what’s happening.”
-
“I honestly don’t know what they’re trying to do at this point.”

-
“They keep making reckless moves… Is there no adult around to stop them?”
-
“I really don’t understand why they’re doing this… If they were confident about winning the lawsuit, they wouldn’t need this kind of media play.”
