NJZ’s (NewJeans) Danielle Admits She Believed They Would Win
An interview between NJZ (NewJeans) and BBC Korea was released on March 26, 2025. The girls gave the interview after the release of the results of their court ruling. On March 21, 2025, the 50th Civil Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court accepted ADOR’s application for an injunction against the NewJeans members to “preserve the status of the agency and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts.”
Danielle admitted in the interview that the results took the group by surprise. For herself, she had been expecting a win.
I was obviously expecting the alternative results, so I think it was a moment where we were all just really kind of in shock.

She continued that she had simply wanted to be able to continue to work. That was the group’s main goal in their lawsuit.
I guess we just really wanted to be able to work. And to be able to do the work we love, without these misleading and false lies getting in the way.
