Eagle-Eyed Netizens Spot Pre-Orders For Former NMIXX Jini’s Solo Debut Album On Target Website

It seems she’ll be making her debut this fall!

Ever since Jini (formerly Jinni) suddenly and unexpectedly left NMIXX last December, fans of the idol have been curious to see if she will continue to pursue a career in music, or if she would decide that the life of a K-Pop idol wasn’t for her.

People were hopeful that she would remain a public figure after she opened her own personal Instagram account in March earlier this year, and that hope grew when she announced she had joined label UAP the following month.

Besides posting regularly on social media, though, there haven’t been any updates then about if or when Jini would be making a solo debut. However, thanks to some eagle-eyed fans perusing online, we might have our first solid piece of evidence that she’s going to release an album this year!

A listing for an album by an artist named Jini is available on Target‘s website for pre-orders. The title and cover art are unknown at this point, but it is already available to purchase and has a release date of October 23, 2023.

One might first guess that maybe this is an album by someone else named Jini that’s not involved in the K-Pop industry, but under the specifications, the genre is listed as K-Pop. And as far as we know, there aren’t any other Jinis in the industry!

Neither Jini nor her label have commented yet on the listing, but hopefully soon there will be further clarification about what it means.

If she really is going to be selling her debut album in Target, it’s an impressive accomplishment for Jini and one that not just every K-Pop artist has been able to do! We’ll have to wait and see if we get more details soon.
