NMIXX Leaves Netizens Stunned With The Sheer Volume Of Their Fansigns
Korean netizens are shocked by the sheer number of fansigns the fourth-generation girl group NMIXX has held this year alone.
On November 27, a post highlighting the issue went viral on the popular Korean forum, TheQoo. At the time of writing, it has attracted over 60,000 views on the platform alone.
The OP (original poster) uploaded a comprehensive table showing the different fansigns held by the group this year, totaling an astonishing 92, including offline and online ones. In 2023, NMIXX released two albums, expérgo, and A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream, and each of these events was catered to different distributors.
According to OP’s post, the group did a total of 36 fan events while promoting expérgo for popular distributors like Ktown4U, Mic Star, Soundwave, EVERLINE, HMV K-Pop, and Whoop Japan. For A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream, the group did over 50 such events with even more organizers like Apple Music and Blue Dream Media.
With these estimates, it is being said that NMIXX has achieved the highest number of fansigns by a K-Pop group. To put it into perspective, this number is higher than the number of hand-shaking events held by AKB, Japan’s most crowded and highest-selling idol group!
On the one hand, netizens are impressed by the sheer volume of NMIXX’s fan events, but on the other, they showed concern for the members as such a high number of events indicates an overpacked schedule. Meanwhile, NMIXX is already scheduled to have a busy 2024 with the announcement of their next album, Fe304: BREAK, in January.
