Recently, NMIXX fans became aware of an “artist” on Spotify that has been creating vulgar and offensive songs about Sullyoon as well as other female K-Pop idols, and are demanding that action be taken against them.

Sullyoon (NMIXX) | SBS

The person in question is an Indonesian hip-hop singer who, though relatively unknown as a musician, has gotten more recognition recently due to his disturbing song titles. The one about Sullyoon is titled “Entot Sullyoon”; the word “entot” is a vulgar way of saying “to have sex with”, making the disturbing meaning of the song evident.

He has even used a picture of Sullyoon with her eyes crossed out as the “cover art” for the song.

While she is the latest artist to be targeted in this way by this person, Sullyoon isn’t the first. He has also written similarly vulgar songs about NewJeans‘ HanniIVE‘s LeeseoKep1er‘s Chaehyun, and others. What’s even more disturbing is some of these idols are underage.

The song about Sullyoon started trending on social media with hashtags such as #JYPE_PROTECT_SULLYOON and #SpotifyTakeAction in order to ask NMIXX’s label and Spotify itself to do something about the songs in question.

The issue also became a topic of concern on an online forum post, where netizens have shared their disgust and anger in the comments.

We hope that the problem gets resolved quickly, and that none of the idols involved have been harmed in any way.
