NRG’s Noh Yoohmin Mourns On The Birthday Of Late Groupmate Kim Hwan Sung
Noh Yoohmin of NRG, a group that debuted back in 1997 and experienced sporadic comebacks over the next two decades, posted a poignant tribute in memory of his late groupmate and friend Kim Hwan Sung on what would have been his 39th birthday.
Hwan Sung passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2000, due to malignant viral pneumonia. He was only 19 years old at the time.
Noh Yoohmin wrote, “For many people, Valentine’s Day is a day for giving chocolates to their loved one, confessing their love and expressing it… But for me, February 14th is the day I miss and remember the angel Kim Hwan Sung, NRG’s eternal member in the sky.”
He added, “I’m always grateful to the many fans who remember Hwan Sung’s birthday and 6/15 anniversary.”
Sending comfort and love to Hwan Sung’s fans and loved ones on his birthday, and year-round when his absence is felt.
