NU’EST Dropped First Japanese Album In 5 Years And Immediately Took Over The Charts
After 5 long years, NU’EST has finally made a return to the Japanese market with the release of their 2nd Japanese album, DRIVE.
With their return capturing everyone’s attention, NU’EST has made a huge splash on the music charts with the new album!
According to Japan’s leading records shop Tower Records, NU’EST made a grand entrance on the Weekly Comprehensive Album chart for the week of October 5 through October 11, claiming no. 2 on the chart!
In addition to their impressive entrance on the Tower Records chart, NU’EST also claimed no. 5 on Billboard Japan‘s Top Album Sales chart and were the only Korean act to appear in the top 5.
DRIVE is the group’s first Japanese album release in 5 years since their first Japanese studio album Bridge the World dropped in 2015. As the new album contains 14 songs, including an original Japanese song by the same name, it’s no surprise that it’s received a whole lot of love on the charts as well as from fans around the globe.
Congratulations NU’EST!
