Is Olympic Gymnast Simone Biles A BTS Fan? All Signs Point To “Yes!”
Previously, eagle-eyed ARMYs noticed a tattoo on Elisa Iorio, a 21-year-old Italian artistic gymnast. She previously won the bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart and won gold and bronze at the 2018 European Junior Championships. She is part of the Italian National Team and competes in the summer Olympics alongside Alice D’Amato, Andreoli, Esposito, and Giorgia Villa.

She has a tattoo on her back, which includes the iconic Love Yourself heart logo. Additionally, it appears to read the phrase “Love Yourself,” written in Korean.

Now, eagle-eyed ARMYs suspect another beloved Olympic gymnast is a fan of BTS.
The “most decorated gymnast in history” and “greatest gymnast” ever, Team USA Olympic athlete Simone Biles currently has 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals and competes in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Colin (@ColinSH3 on X) noticed Hangul on her Team USA warmup jacket’s inner collar while watching the Olympics. It appeared to read, “No matter who you are, every one of us” in Korean.
This quote reminded Colin of BTS leader RM‘s 2018 United Nations General Assembly speech. RM said, “No matter who you are, where you’re from, your skin colour, your gender identity; just speak yourself. Find your name and find your voice by speaking yourself.”
ARMYs were impressed by Colin’s observation. They also thought it was cool to think Biles is ARMY.
Not many saw it. Bc of the time difference, live events from the Olympics aired from night to early morning here. ‘누구든’ (no matter who you are) part immediately reminded me of RM’s speech at the UN. Even if she's not ARMY, it's still cool that she sported Korean on her jacket.

Others had noticed that she had Korean on the inside of another jacket before and wondered if she was ARMY. Yet, they wonder if including multiple languages is also part of the jacket design.
Even the white jacket? You must be the only ARMY to catch that. I would've loved to see it as a clue to see if she's indeed an ARMY. She has experienced tough times mentally over the past three years, and I wouldn't be surprised if she found the messages in BTS songs comforting.

Actually, it looks like it says “todos” on the other side, so maybe it’s part of the U.S. jacket design to include that phrase in multiple languages? But I do think the phrase in Korean is different on this jacket than the other one 🤔

However, Biles previously played “Dynamite” in an Instagram Story in 2021. She flipped to the hit BTS song during her Gold Over America Tour.
.@Simone_Biles sharing on her Instagram about the troubles she is having with the 'twisties' – she really is so brave for staying strong and doing what is best for her. 👏🏼
