Starlight Boys, an ongoing South Korean and Chinese boy group survival show, recently premiered via iQIYI and SBS on October 26, 2024. Sixty-nine male contestants worldwide compete for a spot in the final top 9, with the first episodes having eliminated several trainees already.

One of the trainee’s pre-debut activities with a boyfriend recently gained attention online.

Of the remaining contestants, Chinese trainee Xinche has been praised for his AI-like visuals. He is the only trainee competing under his company, UN4.

Prior to joining the show, he was active on social media as an influencer and has over 770,000 followers on Douyin.

Videos from his time before the show have recently gained attention online, with Xinche being shown with an alleged ex-boyfriend, an influencer. The video clips show the pair on live stream and in videos posted to Douyin, where they play games and kiss.
