Actors Choi Woo Shik And Kim Da Mi In Talks To Star In Naver StudioN’s First Ever Self-Produced Drama
Actor Choi Woo Shik and actress Kim Da Mi are in discussions to star in Naver Webtoon’s first ever self-produced drama.
According to an exclusive report from Newsen, the two actors have been selected as the lead roles for Naver StudioN’s upcoming drama That Year, We…. StudioN is a subsidiary of Naver Webtoon and the drama will be StudioN’s first self-produced drama, thus it has been drawing attention from insiders and broadcasting stations since the planning stage.
Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi were cast as the lead roles in StudioN’s drama That Year, We…. I heard they recently signed their contracts and will begin filming in the second half of 2021.

StudioN has been working to find the right stars to represent themselves with their first self-produced drama, and decided the combination of Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi would be the best, due to their solid acting skills and their popularity.
This will be the second time Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi work together, as they both starred in 2018 movie The Witch. Following that, the both landed breakout roles; Choi Woo Shik in Parasite and Kim Da Mi in Itaewon Class.
Finally, a special aspect of this drama is that it will be released at the same time as the webtoon itself. The webtoon version will be released through Naver Webtoon, and the drama version is expected to have 16 episodes.
