Parent Of Active Idol And “Boys Planet” Alumni Directly Attacks ZEROBASEONE In Rant
The father of a former Boys Planet contestant and active idol has shared some less-than-positive feelings about ZEROBASEONE.
In 2023, the survival show Boys Planet aired, showing a new boy group’s selection process. Eventually, the nine top trainees were selected to debut as ZEROBASEONE.
Still, many of the trainees left such a lasting impact that they were ultimately able to debut in spin-off groups or groups under their respective companies. This includes the boy group AMPERS&ONE.
AMPERS&ONE comprises seven members, including Boys Planet participants Kamden and Jiho.
AMPERS&ONE has been on their Be My First tour and just finished up the last of the US tour’s dates. This seems to have prompted Kamden’s father to tweet mentioning and comparing AMPERS&ONE and ZEROBASEONE.
The initial part of the tweet does not seem to have anything insulting, though it does claim that the show was rigged — not out of the ordinary for a Mnet-produced show following the rigging scandal. However, the second half directly takes a hit at ZB1, implying that they do not have a good relationship and that they are vain.
Kamden was almost a part of @ZB1_official You all know that & if the show wasn't already rigged, he might be there with the other boys.

The tweet’s ending does mention not thinking that ZEROBASEONE are “evil” over their alleged “vanity.”
Naturally, many found issues with the message on behalf of ZEROBASEONE and Kamden.
