Park Bo Young Collects The Wooga Squad As She’s Announced To Costar Choi Woo Shik In Netflix K-Drama

Netflix has announced yet another new K-Drama, and it’s one you won’t want to miss!

The K-Drama is titled Melo Movie. It’s a dark comedy romance that will hopefully bring healing to viewers.

The director is Oh Choong Hwan, who has previously worked on Castaway Diva, Big Mouth, Hotel del Luna, Start-Up, and more! Lee Na Eun, who wrote Our Beloved Summer, will be the writer behind Melo Movie.

That’s not the only Our Beloved Summer crew member who has joined Melo Movie. Choi Woo Shik, who recently starred in the Netflix thriller A Killer Paradox, will be the male lead, Go Gyeom, an actor-turned-film critic.

He is joined by Park Bo Young (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Daily Dose of Sunshine), who will portray the female lead, Kim Moo Bi, an aspiring film director. Moo Bi and Go Gyeom eventually fall in love after meeting on the set of an interview film.

Supporting actors include former U-KISS member Lee Jun Young (Mask Girl and Love and Leashes) and Jeon So Nee (When My Love Blooms and Our Blooming Youth). They will play songwriter Hong Shi Joon and screenwriter Son Joo A, respectively.

Park Bo Young previously appeared in 2017 K-Drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (also known as Strong Girl Bong Soon) alongside Park Hyung Sik, where they famously caught real-life feelings for each other. Last year, she starred in the movie Concrete Utopia with Park Seo Joon.
