Park Bom’s Absence From 2NE1 Livestream Raises Eyebrows

Park Bom‘s absence from 2NE1‘s recent activity has sparked speculations about her future with the group.

On February 20, KST, three members of 2NE1, Sandara Park, CL, and Minzy, hosted a livestream on Instagram. The three idols interacted with fans while they were traveling in a car together.

In the video, Sandara Park expressed her gratitude to fans, saying, “It’s been a long time since we could return to Ho Chi Minh, and we missed you so much. We were really touched by the warm welcome at the airport. Vietnamese Blackjacks are the best!” However, during the entire livestream, none of the members mentioned Park Bom or addressed the reason for her absence.

Park Bom did perform with the other three members at the Ho Chi Minh concerts on February 15-16. So, her being the only member who didn’t appear on the livestream has sparked all kinds of speculations, primarily due to her ongoing controversies. 

Park Bom has been at the center of a brewing controversy over the past few days after repeatedly referring to actor Lee Min Ho as her “husband” in multiple social media posts. She also made a post declaring that she was single, but also claimed that the post was made at Lee Min Ho’s request. This pushed Lee’s agency to finally address the incident, clarifying that the actor had no personal connection with Park Bom.

Park Bom’s social media activities involving Lee Min Ho has frustrated many netizens, with some even questioning if she is fit to continue being an idol. Hence, her exclusion from the latest 2NE1 live broadcast has made many question her future with the group.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is scheduled to hold their concert at the KSPO dome in Seoul on April 12-13.
