A new fan favorite was Player 120, Cho Hyun Ju. The Glory and Queen of Tears actor Park Sung Hoon portrayed Hyun Ju, a Transgender Woman and former sergeant first class in the ROK Special Forces.

During the Six-Legged Pentathalon, Player 044, Seon Nyeo (Chae Gook Hee), who is a shaman, panicked on her turn, stating that they were all going to die as the gods had abandoned them. Hyun Ju famously slapped sense into her and proceeded to put the top in her face, threatening, “If you give up, I will kill you before your gods do.”

Park Sung Hoon revealed that leading up to filming, he believed he would not have to really hit his co-star. Yet, that day, Director Hwang Dong Hyuk asked him to do it just once for an authentic scene.

Actually, the day we filmed that scene, I was under the impression that I wasn’t going to really hit her.  But on the spot, the director asked me to really hit her once.

Park Sung Hoon confessed he felt horrible, especially since he was ultimately asked to do it more than once. He felt so bad that he knelt to apologize to actress Chae Gook Hee.

I felt horrible doing it, but to make matters worse, the director didn’t approve the first take.  So, I remember having to hit her two or three times. Afterward, I got on my knees and apologized.
