Past Fan Hugging Events Resurface After News Of BTS Jin’s First Activity After Discharge
With the recent news of BTS Jin’s discharge from the military, fans received a notice about his first promotions after being discharged.
He will host an offline event to meet with fans just one day after discharge. In line with 2024 FESTA, the event will be held in two parts, the first titled Jin’s Greetings.
This isn’t just any event; it will be a hugging event, where a small hug with Jin will be a part of the meeting. While fans were excited that Jin requested the hugging portion, they were upset that his first livestream would only be available to those with a Weverse membership. This caused a stir as BTS has never held a live stream for membership only.
Meanwhile, with news of Jin’s hugging event, K-Pop fans took a trip down memory lane and reminisced about the hugging events that used to be popular back in the day.
Going as far back as 2013, group 100% held a surprise hugging event after a music broadcast with 350 fans.
