After the success of Mnet‘s Queendom, the PDs of the show is reportedly already in talks of making a male version of the show.
According to their head producer, Cho PD, there have been talks of a season 2 internally. They currently have no concrete plans on who will be joining if ever a season 2 occurs, and planning and direction may still change before that time comes.
The first season of the show featured top girl groups MAMAMOO, Lovelyz, AOA, Oh My Girl, and (G)I-DLE, as well as soloist Park Bom. MAMAMOO won the final championship on the show and is given the prize of a solo comeback show.
