Recently, there were whispers and doubts raised by netizens regarding the bond between the Red Velvet members, especially after not all of them appeared to be present at Wendy’s musical lead debut with Rebecca. But Seulgi, with her recent statement, has set the record straight on Bubble, the popular fan messaging app.

Wendy’s musical debut had been a significant milestone for her and Red Velvet fans alike. However, the absence of some members led to growing concerns about the strength of their bond. Some fans jumped to conclusions, accusing the rest of the members of being less than supportive. But this was far from the truth.

Joy and Yeri subsequently revealed on Instagram that they had been in attendance at one of the musical’s many shows to support their bandmate. Seulgi, never one to let false accusations stand, chose to clear the air on her Bubble conversation with fans.

She disclosed her plans to surprise Wendy at one of her shows, without revealing which one, ensuring the surprise remains intact. The Red Velvet star also hinted that the group’s leader, Irene, probably had already been to the musical — as she is always one of the first to be there for her bandmates. This shows that the girls indeed have each other’s backs, even if they do not always publicize it.

She poignantly added that the same goes even for more mundane things like birthday wishes.

Sweet as ever, Seulgi tried to lighten up the discussion by blaming their reserved nature on the fact that all five members of the group are introverts.
