Photographer’s Explanation Of His Alleged BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie “Couple” Photos Hit With Major Backlash
A photographer is hit with backlash after his story about taking the alleged photos of BTS‘s V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie together.
Back in 2023, photos and videos of BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie allegedly together in Paris started to be spread on social media.

Amar Taoualit, the photographer who took them, revealed that although the videos gained attention on May 17, they were actually taken on May 15. He goes on to explain that he didn’t expect to see the two idols, and the quality was bad because he had to use his phone.
Recently, the photographer did an interview about his experiences with celebrities, and he spoke about the V and Jennie photos.
At the start, Amar pointed out that he was doing a “tour” like usual for photos when a K-Pop fan told him that V was in the city for a CELINE event, but he had no information on Jennie.
Amar then explained that he came out after 11PM and waited for one to two hours at the bus stop in front of the club. When he saw Jennie and V allegedly coming out holding hands, he added that he took a photo and sent it to his friend who replied, “Omg, this is never seen before.
During the video, he then explained some of the places he saw them after, including taking photos at the Eiffel Tower and the docks.
While he explained that he chose to post it a few days later and turned down the Korean press’s requests to use the footage, he then shared the reaction he received after posting the content.
I started getting messages every 2 seconds. There were some insulting me, ‘Why did you post them?’ There were some who said ‘Finally, the truth came out.’ I didn’t understand the couple because I wasn’t following this at all, for me it was a video of stars.

When the video was posted, there was major backlash from netizens. Many doubted the photographer’s explanation, adding that it had seemingly changed from his last story, where he claimed that seeing the two idols wasn’t planned.
